On the 28th of October 2008, our daughter Amy Innes and her friend were hit by a vehicle whilst crossing Tollcross Road and seriously injured.
This was one of many accidents on this stretch of road, it is just a matter of time before it happens again and someone is killed. I urge you to sign this petition below in order for something to be done.
I appreciate that you may not know this area or road, but please please still consider signing it, as it WILL prevent another child being hurt or possibly killed.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge Glasgow City Council to act now and have a pedestrian crossing placed on Tollcross road halfway between Maukinfauld Road and and Braidfauld Street so that no more accidents happen and no more children are injured or killed.
